#AMGoHome: The Bedroom

Finally sharing with you guys the master bedroom! It's taken a while and it's definitely not yet completely done, but we've got enough in there that I'm happy to share. Our walls are painted with "Granite Dust" by Behr. I wanted to avoid stark white walls in the house since I knew I wanted other aspects of the room to be white. I imagined this cozy cloud and really love how everything is coming togeher.

Our furniture is from West Elm and our rug is from LD Shoppe. We went with a size 8x11 and think it turned out perfectly. A few more things we want to add is artwork for above the bed rather than a headboard, a bench on the far side of the room next to my side of the bed, and then I think that should be about it. Check out the links below to shop our bedroom.

#AMGoHome: Organizing at Home

Spending a lot more time at home means keeping the house tidy and organized is a must. From the moment we began getting settled in, an organized system was something we knew we had to have. From the kitchen to the pantry, from the bedroom to the closets, organizers and bins were a necessity. We did all our organizer shopping at The Container Store. Shop all the organizers we got for our home down below!

#AMGoHome: Decor

Once all the main furniture was in, that's how I was able to have a little bit more fun with the space through decorative items, different textures, materials, etc. It's been a mix of price ranges but nothing too outrageous. A lot being from West Elm, CB2, Target, and even H&M Home. I've rounded up some of the more decorative elements of the house in this post. Since my palette is so neutral, decor was how I could really spruce things but a little bit while still sticking to my simpler style.

There's still so much I want to do to the space, but I keep reminding myself to slow down, really fall in love with pieces before I decide to buy them, and just take my time to avoid getting carried away. If there's anything I didn't link that you're looking for, just let me know in the comments or DM me on IG!
