Favorites Roundup: Sunglasses

I don't know about you guys, but I'm a sucker for sunglasses. I'm always tempted to try them on when I see sunglasses while I'm shopping and a few times, I fell so in love with a pair and I had to have them. But this often leaves me with a bunch of sunglasses even though I only reach for the same few pairs. In this post, I don't want to bombard you with a ton of sunglasses but really narrow down my absolute favorites as well as some tips and tricks for shopping for sunglasses as well.

Before I begin sharing my favorites, keep in mind that these are the sunglasses that I love based on what has worked for me and my face shape. I got a big head and a round face and no nose bridge so please remember that when checking out my suggestions!

My go-to's for wire frames are currently the Ray-Ban sunglasses and because my head is a bit on the bigger side, I prefer my glasses to be 53mm or 54mm. Luckily, Ray-Ban makes their styles in different sizes so if you're on the hunt for some solid everyday sunglasses, definitely check out the ones I've linked above! If your budget allows, my other go-to's are the Ahlem Concorde sunnies.

So I had a phase where I only wanted big sunglasses a few years ago, then I got into this wire-frame aviator vibe and so I just recently started wearing bigger sunglasses again when I saw these Givenchy sunglasses at Solstice. Before this pair, I loved my Céline sunglasses so much. They're still a great option for anyone looking for a chunkier style. But pro-tip, if you find a pair you like in stores, always take down the style number and see if it's online somewhere cheaper. Céline sunnies in particular often trickle down to outlets for a fraction of the price and I learned, after too much money paid on sunglasses that I probably could have saved a lot on, to ALWAYS check online first.

Some places to check for designer eyewear on a budget would be Nordstrom Rack + Neiman Marcus Last Call. You can check online or even check out an outlet location if you luckily live close to one! There's so much inventory on glasses and even if you want to go to Sunglass Hut or Solstice Sunglasses, they'll often go on sale too. I purchased my Givenchy Sunglasses for 25% off and my Dior sunglasses for 50% off due to a Valentine's Day promotion. I'm getting to that point in my life where I'm convinced everything's going to go on sale eventually. (Lol)

Other places that are great for shopping for sunglasses are Zero UV and Quay Australia. (You can find Quay in Nordstrom, Topshop, Bloomingdale's, etc. in case you're one of the "must try on first" types of shoppers, which I totally get because it be like that sometimes. Quay also started creating blue light glasses which are so important for people that are constantly staring at a screen all day! I just placed an order with them and can't wait for them to arrive! Linking my favorite pairs from the brand below.

If none of those peaked your interest, check out Shopbop which carries a variety of brands and are well stocked with the latest trends. Another good place to check out is Zara and Mango has really been stepping it up lately so don't sleep on them either.

Alright, so that's pretty much it for my round up of my favorite sunglasses. Be sure to keep an eye on my stories because I'll be sure to post any discounts/deals when I find them!
