Hôtel Vernet | Paris

Imagine being in Paris and staying at a hotel so lovely that you didn't mind not leaving your room? For my second time in the beautiful city, I was lucky enough to stay at Hôtel Vernet, a beautiful property near the Champs-Élysées, around the corner from the Arc de Triomphe. From my past experiences with European hotels, it's safe to assume that a lot of space isn't something too common. Our last hotel had barely enough space for us to open our suitcases!

It was a breath of fresh air to check into Hôtel Vernet, a bathroom so big that we could dance around inside, ceilings so high and a balcony that allowed me to adore Paris from a few stories above the sidewalk. I'm so excited to share with you all my amazing experience at this perfect Parisian hotel.

The staff had immediately welcomed Marco and I with big smiles and we instantly felt at home. The lobby was stunning, I had only wished I captured more of the space! We were so excited to see what would be home for our last few days in Paris and we were not disappointed. The staircase wrapped around a stunning elevator that I swooned over every time we left and came back to the hotel. These design elements are things that make my heart flutter when staying in a foreign city. It's always beautiful to see aspects of design and architecture from the country still present in a more modern hotel. I loved how they kept original parts of the property intact, it added to the charm and uniqueness of it. You know their 5-Star label has been well-earned.

We had gone from a room with a bathroom that barely fit one person, to a one with his and hers sinks, a separate room for the toilet, a shower, and a bathtub. I'm always a sucker for a good bathroom with the perfect fixtures and color scheme. Trust me when I say this one was absolutely dreamy.

I had loved the way the light just filled the room. Be sure to keep an eye out for my travel video to see more of this space! I'm currently editing so it should be up in a few days!

I remember our last morning in Paris, I was thinking, "I wish we didn't have to leave already." Be careful what you wish for because a few minutes later, I was listening to a voicemail from our airline that our flight has been cancelled and we've been re-booked on a flight for the following day! We extended our time at the hotel for an extra night and made the most of our extra day in Paris. With a stunning sunset before we had to go, it was definitely a difficult goodbye.

Hôtel Vernet is a hidden gem in Paris that I most definitely can't wait to call home once again when I return to Paris. It was a beautiful stay with delicious food and such a wonderful staff. For your next trip to this beautiful city, please make sure you look at staying at Hôtel Vernet, it's so conveniently close to the metro, shopping, but tucked away enough that you can enjoy that quietness.

A special thank you to Hôtel Vernet for having Marco & I. We'll see you again soon!
