The Quin Hotel

Although I've lived in New York since I was 8 years old, and hopping on the train to Manhattan on a regular basis, there's just something special about actually staying in a New York City hotel and being directly above those city streets. Possibly one of the best stays I've ever had was at The Quin hotel, a 5 Star property that absolutely exceeded my expectations. From the suite to the hospitality of the staff, every little detail was perfection. Continue reading to get a glimpse of my stay at this luxurious space.

Our check-in was warm and welcoming. We were upgraded to the top floor where we stayed in the Terrace Junior Suite providing Marco and I with a stunning view of the city that took our breath away. Being at the top floor is definitely ideal for hotel stays, it just gives you an over-the-top experience and it just made our stay just that much more memorable.

The materials of the room and the furnishings were all beautiful. Having studied interior design, I'm a sucker for attention to detail, and The Quin went above and beyond. The large windows brightened up the room and to be in a space in NYC that doesn't feel cramped is all one could ever really ask for. With fresh flowers on the tables, fashion books decorating as accents, comfortable lounge chair and sofa, the living room area was perfect for hanging out at the hotel between walks to the park or shopping down 5th Avenue. You know I loved just being down the street from Bergdorf Goodman!

Shortly after checking in, we were welcomed with a cheese platter and a bottle of Prosecco to our room. And this was just the beginning of the impeccable service we would enjoy over the weekend. It's genuine kindness of the staff that make a hotel stay. Nothing during the weekend was stressful or problematic and the staff made sure of it from room service, to cleaning the room, to turn-down before bed.

Perhaps one of the most comfortable beds that I have ever laid in, the king size bed of the suite is one that I would not mind being in all day long. The luxurious linens by Sferra and the coziness of the DUX Beds were everything. It made going to bed absolute heaven and made waking up in the morning always so pleasant. I don't think it's possible to wake up on the wrong side of the bed here! What I also loved about the hotel was their turn down service. Upon returning to the suite after dinner, the bed had been made ready for bed; Water was ready on the bedside tables, slippers in place, the curtains closed, relaxing music playing on the TV, and the comforter turned down.

The bathroom of the room was another stunner, with marble counters and a spacious rain shower with two additional shower heads as well. The bathroom was equipped with Fresh amenities that smelled and felt wonderful against my skin. This was literally #BathroomGoals.

The last day in our suite was definitely a sad one, since we didn't want to leave. We ordered breakfast and enjoyed it on our terrace on a beautiful Sunday morning with New York City having a slow start down below. The food was incredible and with the Wayfarer restaurant directly below, you're guaranteed to have an amazing meal whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

I hope that if you're ever in New York City and are looking for a place to stay, to consider The Quin hotel. The staff is amazing and the rooms are absolute perfection. I had a great experience staying with the property and would absolutely recommend the hotel to all my family and friends. Check out a short video of my stay down below!
