I'm going to be spending this summer enjoying time with friends, working on the blog, and just having a good time. I don't want to be stressed out the summer before I begin my senior year of Interior Design. With the unbearable NYC heat, I'll be living in denim shorts, flowy blouses, some cute sandals, and a nice neutral bag to go better with the summer tones. I've currently got my eye on this Chloé Faye that has yet to be released in this color, but I'm already in love with the pictures alone. I'm ready for a summer filled with beaching, brunching, blogging, and bumming on the off days. Here's to an amazing Summer!

Summer Staples

Hello, Summer
I'm kicking off Summer 2015 with a collaboration with LuLus.com. After a long school year, going to the beach after everything, definitely allowed for a much needed escape. This isolated location was the perfect spot to take in all that has been happening, and to look forward to all the upcoming projects I have for the new season. I've been feeling more than overwhelmed, but a dear friend reassured me that I can do anything, just not everything. And that's perfectly okay. I'm going to focus on what's best for me and not let anyone else convince me otherwise.
Crochet Dress: (c/o) LuLu's | Sunhat: Topshop

Paired with nothing more than a simple sunhat, this dress is the perfect summer staple. With the crochet detail and the neutral color, wearing it to the beach couldn't have been more perfect. I can always rely on LuLu's to have a great selection of dresses to choose from no matter what occasion it may be.

Classic Moto
If it doesn't help you grow, let it go. I've been taking a lot of time to think about things and where I devote my time, because let's face it, that's the most precious and irreplaceable thing we have. I don't know where things are heading, but I know that for right now, I just want to make the most out of every opportunity that's given to me. With classes being done and over with, summer upon us, I just want to take advantage of anything and everything that's being thrown my way.

Brooklyn Blues
This is most definitely long overdue, but seeing as how my spring semester is finally done, my schedule is finally opening up. To be able to not stress over projects, assignments, or portfolios is a massive weight off of my shoulders. After a year of my more consistent blogging, it still puts a smile on my face when companies reach out to collaborate with me. These pieces from Tobi and Seychelles Footwear were such comfortable and easy-to-wear pieces for a typical New York City Spring day. I'm so excited to get started on these summer projects and share them with you all.

Clean Slate
I often find myself staying away from the Times Square area nowadays, but on a day you're invited to an advanced screening of Age of Adaline, the tourist crowds aren't so bad... Okay so they're always pretty bad, but surprisingly enough, Bryant Park was fairly quiet on such a beautiful day. It's been a very hectic couple of weeks, starting my new job has thrown off my blogging schedule by a lot, but I can assure you that I'll get the hang of it again once school is over. Change is the only constant in life, and when starting somewhere new, it's normal to be a little nervous. But honestly, I'm really loving this chapter of my life and I can't wait to see how the rest of it pans out. Here's a fresh (almost) all white look, though I practically wear nothing but this neutral palette, to end my spring semester and begin summer 2015.

Mother's Day Gift Guide
Mother's Day is right around the corner and I can't wait to spoil my mom on her special day. Between work and school, I often find myself running out of the house, and not seeing her until later that night when I get home. Besides an actual present, I think it's most important for my mom to just know how much I appreciate her. Anything I do is just a drop in the bucket for all that she has done for me, non-stop love and support for the things that I do and always making sure that I know that. I've put together a small collage for some gift ideas. My mother personally loves flowers, so a beautiful bouquet, letter, and brunch date is definitely in order for the number one woman in my life. Finals week is upon me so I'm sorry for the out of whack blog schedule. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend whichever way you're spending it and good luck to anyone else with finals this week and next!

Blossoming
Flirting with spring, I have to say that this is one of my favorite looks so far. This season has been full of new beginnings, including work, friendships, and even experimenting a little more with mixing up certain pieces in my wardrobe. It's my favorite time of the season, budding trees, so fresh and new. I'm happy to be working with Rocksbox for a couple more months as they have extended my promotional code (found at the end of this post) and even made me their "It Girl" featuring this layered necklace look! Read more for additional details on these pieces.
