Fresh Air

City views at sunset, now that's something that will never get old. I always have this moment of reflection when I'm at this spot in Brooklyn. Maybe it's the way the skyscrapers' images spill back into the water. Maybe it's because of the sunset and I think more as the day comes to a close. Whatever it may be, whatever the cause for this effect, I'm happy. I have reached a point in my life where I'm just overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone in my life and all the opportunities that have been given to me. I am closing a chapter in my life, a chapter full of doubts and insecurities, a version of me that allowed people to take advantage of me, use me, and make me feel guilty for things that I should be proud of. Not anymore.

The past year has taught me so much about myself, other people, and the way I want to live my life. I don't know exactly where this journey will take me, but I'm looking forward to it. The past year alone has already been more than I could have ever imagined, and for that I owe to everyone that has supported me through it all. Also thank you so much for 20.5K on Instagram, thank you for being a part of this adventure with me. Blogging along side working, interning, and being a full time student has definitely been a challenge, but when you're doing something you love, everything sort of just falls into place. This has all strengthened me, made me more confident, wiser, and I couldn't be happier. I'm humbled by everyones love and kind words and I can only hope that I don't let any of you down. Thank you so much for everything.
