Turning 24

It's been a crazy ride the past year and I can't believe how blessed I've been to have worked with so many great companies, made new friends, gone to new places, all from diving into this blogging world. As I begin my 24th year, I'm so thrilled to see where this journey takes me. I'm not one for extravagant birthdays but I think it's safe to say that this has been one of the best ones. From a mellow dinner with family to a fun birthday brunch with my friends, I was surrounded by some of the most important people in my life. I immediately fell in love with this casual/preppy top from Lookbook Store and knew it would be the perfect piece to wear for my birthday. Of course, I wanted to take out my new Givenchy Antigona (review coming soon) and because this bag is so simple, yet still makes a statement, the rest of my look had to follow accordingly. Having had come from school, my boyfriend took me to brunch before we headed to DUMBO in Brooklyn for these photos. And despite the temperatures, I remained quite warm. I'm in love with this coat for several reasons, one being it's the perfect cut to cape over my shoulders, and second, it keeps me really warm during the frigid February days. If this birthday is a sign of how my 24th year will go, I'm so excited to be able to share this journey with you all.
