If it's single digits outside, there's no shame in taking these blog photos indoors. I ventured off to the New York Public Library with my boyfriend to shoot my second and final look for FOXIEDOX: The "Leanna" top in black. The mesh detail helped add some delicacy to the outfit and this blush overcoat was the perfect final touch. Alongside my Saint Laurent bag and simple sandals from Steve Madden, this will be the perfect spring look once it's finally warmer outside.

Snow Blanket

Don't you just love having an arctic winter for New York Fashion Week – I definitely didn't. It had gotten so cold that you can still manage to see your breath indoors and your feet would get numb after 2 minutes of standing over the icy snow. Luckily, bulky sweaters and blankets are spilling out of my wardrobe and this wintry day required lots of layers. Beneath my favorite grey coat was a blanket scarf, heavy knit turtleneck, and an additional long-sleeve and tank top as well. And yes, I was freezing while taking some of these photos, absolutely frozen by the end of it. Read more to get additional shots of this chilly shoot!

Is it spring yet? New York City has become an ice box over the past couple of days and I'm running out of layering tricks. I attended an adorable luncheon with Foxiedox in this look, kicking off New York Fashion Week. Rather than bulking up with a coat, I just layered a couple of sweaters to keep myself from cursing at the cold. As an attempt to add more color to the blog, this blush wall was the perfect setting for yet another (somewhat) neutral outfit. Grey Faux

I think it's pretty safe to say that this birthday has been the best one yet. Not only did I get to spend it with my family, but I had a great time celebrating with my closest friends last weekend at Paradou for a bottomless brunch. We may have had one too many mimosas but it was one of the greatest brunches I have ever had. For the occasion I knew I wanted to wear this faux fur coat from Forever 21. Not knowing what else to wear, all black  has just always been the reliable choice to make. Read more for details on this look.

Givenchy Antigona

The Givenchy Antigona had been on my wish list for a while, and it wasn't until recently that I decided to just take the plunge as a birthday present. I constantly find myself falling for black bags, and after realizing I lacked a piece with silver hardware, this was my opportunity. Read more for additional photos of this bag as well as some great sites to purchase it from, I got mine for a steal!

Turning 24

It's been a crazy ride the past year and I can't believe how blessed I've been to have worked with so many great companies, made new friends, gone to new places, all from diving into this blogging world. As I begin my 24th year, I'm so thrilled to see where this journey takes me. I'm not one for extravagant birthdays but I think it's safe to say that this has been one of the best ones. From a mellow dinner with family to a fun birthday brunch with my friends, I was surrounded by some of the most important people in my life. For my birthday, something simple and casual was what I really wanted to go for. Read more to get additional details on this look.

SoHo Faux

SoHo has become one of my favorite parts of Manhattan, not only because of the shopping and endless brunch locations, but due to the character this neighborhood has. Each building has it's own unique personality and history and you can typically find a mixture of practically anything in this area, but let's be honest, that's basically a good amount of New York City, isn't it? I recently met up with a photographer from San Francisco and it was my first time shooting for the blog with someone other than my boyfriend or a friend. Read more to get additional shots from this day and details on this look!
