Farewell, November

And hello December. How crazy is it that the year is almost done? It seems as though it was just yesterday that I was getting ready to ring in the new year while spending the holidays with my family in the Philippines. However, that whole 2014 recap will have to be saved for a later post. Today, let's just talk about November and all the good things that came along with it. Check out the slider below to shop pieces that I've acquired for the month and keep reading to recap this months events as well as my plans for December!

This month, I was able to attend the Shopstyle x Rebecca Taylor event! I had so much fun meeting so many bloggers and getting to play dress up. I look forward to more Shopstyle events with other designers in the future. Who doesn't love a party with champagne, shopping, and a room filled with people that love #OOTDs just as much as you do?

I've made quite a few trips to the Plaza Food Hall, enjoying lobster rolls, crepes, crepe cakes, macarons... you name it. If you're ever in NYC, please do make a trip to the Plaza Food Hall. Many of New York City's best eats can be found under one roof. Then you can scurry off to Bergdorf Goodman afterwards... I also enjoyed brunch at Cafe Mogador in the East Village as well where I was quite pleased with their eggs benedict. I'll definitely be back for more!

I was also due for a trip to the salon this month, so I made my way to Fox & Jane where my stylist Bianca worked her magic once again. I got myself a glaze where my color was brought back down to an ashy tone to get rid of the brassy color that began to come out. I've already got another appointment lined up for my next balayage session with her, I can't wait!

Marco and I have had a pretty mellow November, with school and working every day that we can, we have only been able to see each other once or twice a week if we're lucky. After being together for almost four years, I know how blessed I am to have him. We attended a wedding this past weekend and it was nice to be able to get all dressed up together. Hopefully once the semester is over, we'll be able to go on more adventures together.

Daniel Wellington reached out to me once again for a holiday collaboration. I was able to select three watches and they will definitely make the perfect gift for my loved ones. I also received a little package from NARS including some liners that I absolutely love. Other purchases include some clothing from Aritzia, Ann Taylor, Topshop, and Zara as well as upgrading to an iPhone 6.

These #OOTDs include some of my recent purchases, also featuring the coats and jackets that have been added to my fall wardrobe thus far. With the weather getting chillier, I'm definitely putting all these pieces on rotation. Although it took forever for me to find my perfect camel and grey coats, it has definitely paid off because I'm in love with all my investments. I'm so happy they all go so well together and that plays an important role whenever I go shopping. I like being able to mix and match my purchases.

Lastly, my bed got some new bedding and I'll be doing a post on mixing up textures to create your perfect white bed. Although difficult to maintain, I just love the way a white bed lights up my room. It makes everything a lot brighter, softer, and the textures add great dimension to my space. Stay tuned for a post on my bedding with links to the exact linens that I've purchased for myself!

As for December, my main focus is finishing off the semester on an amazing note so that I can enjoy Christmas break without having to worry about grades. I just want to enjoy the holidays with my loved ones, spend some time with friends, take a little trip outside of the city, etc. There's still Christmas shopping to get done, holiday outfits to put together, the house to decorate, and finals to prep for! It's going to be a very hectic next two weeks but it's crunch time. I've got some great stuff lined up for the blog so here's to making the last month of 2014 the best one yet. :)
