A little over two weeks ago, ThirdLove reached out to me about reviewing one of their sets. Last week, I received the Lace Balconet set and immediately fell in love with the femininity of it. I'm sure that a lot of us have a bunch of t-shirt bras in our drawers, something plain and simple to just toss on in the morning. Every girl should have something lacy and delicate in their unmentionables as well. If you're looking for something simple, beautiful, and feminine, ThirdLove has a wide assortment of beautiful pieces that will surely be different from all the other plain bras in your drawers.

The fit is perfect and despite the lack of padding, it still offers amazing support. The straps are comfortable and do not cut into your shoulders at all. I am the kind of girl that loves a good lace detail and ThirdLove truly does an amazing job at that. For anyone that is looking to treat themselves to a little something something, I suggest making your way to ThirdLove aside from your usual bra/underwear shop!

Lace Layers

This week has been pretty rough. I'm nearing the end of my first project for the semester and I'd be lying if I said I'm not stressed about it. Luckily, after today's review, it seems like I'm in pretty good shape. New York weather is still a little weird. Today was pretty chilly but it'll reach the 80s on Sunday. In other news, I also started watching Gossip Girl from the very beginning a few weeks ago and now I'm on season 6. It's incredible how much more I appreciate the fashion since I first started watching it years ago.

Since transitioning is still in the works, I decided to post a little something about making your summer laces work their way into your fall wardrobe. I love throwing a cozy knit over a delicate detail because it's a great way to add some dimension and texture to your look. You can shop this entire look below at Aeropostale, and they're all on sale! Be sure to check out the Steve Madden boots that I've been wearing EVERYWHERE! They're so beautiful and comfortable at such an affordable price. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Black and White

This is me holding on to the last bits of summer but I'm not going to lie, part of me is really excited for fall. Okay, so a lot of me is really excited for fall. Although I'm in the city from 9AM-6PM Monday to Friday, I rarely get to enjoy strolls through my favorite neighborhoods unless it's the weekend. Luckily, this past Friday, I got to enjoy a lovely afternoon with my boyfriend walking through the West Village before enjoying some lobster rolls for dinner.

This might be one of my favorite transitional outfits. Delicate blouses can be worn towards "Fall Fashion" just by wearing it with darker colors. I fell in love with this blouse the minute I saw it on the hanger and even more so when I tried it on. Pairing it with these distressed jeans by Citizens of Humanity and my hat from Topshop was the perfect look for a little Friday evening date with my boyfriend in the Village. The weather is finally getting cooler and I'm finally back into the swing of things with school and work, well at least I think I am. I'm glad that I've been able to juggle everything going on in my life thus far, let's hope I'm able to keep it up!

Prints & Fringe

Time for a quick Sunday post, falling in love with the fringe and felt trend that's going to be all over Instagram and Style Blogs this season. I'm absolutely in love with this cozy hooded sweater from the Bethany Mota Collection at Aéropostale, so perfect for those cool Autumn days. Since the weather has gotten cooler, it feels like I've just been living in all black clothes and booties. I hope everyone has an amazing week!

New York Fashion Week

What's the best part of September? New York Fashion Week of course. Unfortunately, due to such a hectic and busy schedule, I was only able to make my way to Lincoln Center for one of those days. As my Instagram was flooded with fashion-forward outfits, even more so than usual, I just kept wishing I was a part of it.

This is the official beginning of my "Fall Wardrobe," and what better way to start it off than with this beautiful jacket from Aritzia. In order to make this tone pop, I decided that the rest of my outfit should just be an all-black canvas. I can't wait for more Autumn weather with cute jackets, beautiful scarves, and a whole lot of boots. It's only the beginning of September but I'm jumping the gun and shopping like it's October going into November.

The Golden Hour

I've been back to reality for two weeks now, but it feels like it was just yesterday that I was in Florida. Let this post be the last of my Summer 2014 outfits because I'm just about ready for sweaters, jackets, and a whole ton of booties! I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who has supported me, my friends, boyfriend, family, etc. I have had the honor of working with some incredible companies that I never thought that I would be able to collaborate with, but then again, anything is possible when you put your heart into something.

It took me a while to put this blog together to exactly represent my style and personality because I wanted to honor the term personal style blogger. This is a reflection of who I am and no one else. You can't really say it's a "personal style blog" unless it's a cultivation of who you truly are, your words, your style, your aesthetic. Being in a creative field such as interior design, inspiration without imitation is such a big deal to me. I urge anyone who has ever wanted to start their own blog to do so, gather inspiration from the beautiful minds that leave you in awe, use that to discover your style and originality and you'll be amazed to see how far you can go. Thank you again to everyone who takes the time to read my blog, like my Instagram posts, it means the world to me to have your support and read your kind words!

Back To School Necessities

The "Back To School" Season is always bittersweet. It's the end of summer but it's also a new beginning. The semester is starting, weather begins to change, and of course, shopping. I decided to put together a little something to show some of my much-needed "Back To School" pieces. This includes things that help me stay organized, pretty little things, a very useful bag that can fit it all, etc. Of course I had to throw in some pretty fashionable pieces as well. What are your back to school picks? These are mine!

Palm Beach, Florida

It seems like the hot weather from Florida has made it's way up here to New York. I finally get a bit of down time this weekend, catching up on school work, working on the blog, being able to actually sleep in, etc. It's been nearly two weeks since I first got to Florida and I definitely already miss the absence of stress when you're away from home. Palm Beach was definitely one of my favorite places to see, but nothing definitely tops the trip to Disney World. For this outfit, throwing on a dress was absolutely necessary because it was about 98 degrees this day! I hope everyone has an amazing weekend!
