Sweaters & SoHo

I can't believe it's June already! Where has the time gone? It feels like just yesterday I was in the Philippines ringing in the New Year. But anyways, enough about that. Yesterday was beautiful and I could probably stroll through SoHo a million times and never get tired of it. It's definitely one of my favorite parts of Manhattan, from the cobblestone roads to the cast-iron buildings, and not to mention the endless possibilities of food choices and shops. I spent the day with my boyfriend in the city, mostly on a little bit of a food adventure. Considering it was a beautiful 70-degree saturday, I opted for something that wouldn't make me sweat or feel cold either. I paired my distressed lightwash jeggings from Aeropostale with my new Aritzia pieces, the Community Iconic Cape which you can find here and the Wilfred Tandis T-Shirt here

I love wearing white/cream pieces. You can tell it's one of my favorite colors, or lack of, to wear based on my past posts. I just love how it brings out the color of my hair, especially since I got a touch-up on my balayage, and my tan as well. You can see a slight difference in hair color in this post. I got it done on Tuesday and my hair has now taken a step back from the brassy look and leans towards a lighter brunette color. Since the day consisted of cobblestone streets and a lot of walking around, I decided to ditch the heels and go with my reliable Dolce Vita Archers which you can shop below! I love the tall doors and windows that make up South of Houston. You can find a million places to take photos and I wound up in front of Saint Laurent for these. After an amazing brunch at LadurĂ©e and lining up for the Cronut at Dominique Ansel's Bakery, Marco and I headed towards Broadway down Spring Street. In the midst of the hustle and bustle of the Manhattan Streets, it was still a great day to be out and about. The day was perfect for breaking in a new outfit. I love how cozy this sweater is and it's great to wear with shorts, jeans, or even a dress. I originally planned on getting it in grey but the natural/creme color just had to be mine.

The Louis Vuitton Mahina XS is one of my favorite bags because of the slouchy look, perfect to pair with this slouchy sweater. Aritzia is still having their Spring/Summer sale so if you had your eye on anything, now is the time to buy! You can find this foxtail keychain on eBay, just search for it and you'll be able to purchase it through a "Buy It Now" option.

As for my accessories, I went with my Gucci sunglasses and my usual pieces, a Forever 21 necklace, Juicy Couture chain bracelet, Tiffany & Co. infinity bracelet/ring, and my MBMJ watch.

I hope everyone's summer is off to a fantastic start! I'm really excited for future posts and vlogs and hopefully a mini vacation with friends somewhere in between. Have a great week, everyone and thanks so much for reading!
