Instagrams from Manila, Philippines!

So, I left for Manila on December 18, arrived the evening of December 19. Throughout my trip, I updated my Twitter and Instagram practically everyday. The last time that I was home was 5 years ago, so going back this time was such a great break from New York City. Don't get me wrong, I love it here. I love being in the city, surrounded by fashion and living a fast paced lifestyle, but every once in a while, it's just nice to get back into your roots.

Here are a couple of my IG posts while I was in Manila, enjoying family, food, and shopping. Read more to see what I was up to on my trip! *Photo Heavy*

Leaving for the airport, I dressed in all black and my comfy cardigan from Forever 21.

Twenty hours later, I finally landed in Manila. Settled back into my old room at the townhouse. You have no idea how nice it is to sleep in a bed after a fourteen hour flight, then an hour layover, then another four hour flight.

The turron at my dad's restaurant was amazing.

One of my Filipino favorites: Taho!

My favorite place to get ice cream: The Peninsula Manila.

Did some shopping...

Some outfits of the day.

Had to take a trip to the spa!

Oreo Bubble Tea!

Monster ice cream with family at The Peninsula.

Christmas present from my dad and my aunt and uncle! Saint Laurent Sac Du Jour and matching wallet. I was in awe, I love them both so much.

My aunt's Birkin. No big deal.

Some last minute shopping!

At the airport heading home, revealing my Louis Vuitton purchases, Epi Neverfull MM in Indigo, Cream Key Charm, and Monogram Passport Cover.

Stop over in Japan means getting some ramen!

Marco picked me up from the airport and we probably had the biggest smiles in the world. After a month of being away, it was so nice just being with him.

  1. I thought you were with Marco when you visited here because of the photo by the sea above. :)

  2. I'm totally creeping your blog hard but I love this post and had to comment! I'm going to the Philippines for 2 weeks at the end of October and I've got major anxiety about the flight but when I see beautiful photos like these it makes me a feel a little better. End creep session lol. x Natalie
