The Garment District

What I love about New York City is how you can't ever really run out of things to do, restaurants to try, or places to see. Fortunately for me, I went to school right in the Garment District and was able to try out some incredible places during my years in college. Now that I've graduated and am blogging full time, the Garment District is still one of my go-to neighborhoods to hang out with friends whether it's over dinner, drinks, or dessert. In this post I'm sharing four great places to check out in the Garment District that won't disappoint!

REFINERY ROOFTOP 63 W 38th Street, New York, NY 10018

Catching up with friends over some drinks? I love this rooftop because they've got a great menu of bites, an incredible view, and an awesome selection of drinks. There are several areas to sit but on a cooler New York day, cozying up next to the fireplace with a drink was perfect. This is a great place to hang out with friends with a solid NYC view.

GOGI 37 252 W 37th St, New York, NY 10018

If you follow me on Instagram, then you know how much I love some Korean Barbecue. Gogi 37 had a great menu that my boyfriend and I loved because there were so many options to choose from. Along with some quality meats, they also had a great number of sides. I always think that KBBQ is a great dinner option when it comes to larger groups. Plus, it's absolutely delicious.
CHARLIE PALMER STEAK 252 W 37th St, New York, NY 10018

My boyfriend and I were itching for some dessert so we headed over to Charlie Palmer Steak where we enjoyed a delicious creme brûlée and a brownie and ice cream dessert. The space was definitely cozy and it's the perfect place for a date night. Glancing through the menu, it's definitely on my list to come back.

THE SKYLARK 200 W 39th St, New York, NY 10018

I absolutely loved The Skylark. It had such a great vibe and loved how elegant and luxe the space felt. My friend and I arrived just in time for the sunset and enjoyed some drinks to cap off a long day. If you're looking for some drinks + a view, definitely check this out. I highly recommend it as well for a get together with a bunch of friends because they have several rooms that can host a group! Their cocktails were also delicious and the food menu looked extremely promising as well! I'm gonna have to come back for their churros.
