Summer with Lulu's

One of my favorite sites to shop even from before I started to blog was Lulu's, so to be able to work with them especially when I travel is something I absolutely love. They've been my go-to for dresses, special occasion pieces, and I check-in weekly just to see all their latest additions. Hot and humid weather can be a tricky one to dress for so my go to is always something light and airy. Stepping away from my usual black or white attire, I fell in love with this piece knowing it would be the perfect thing to wear for Bal Harbour. Check out the amazing pieces at Lulu's here and shop this look below.

Miami in L'academie

My favorite thing to wear during warmer months are flowing dresses, something comfortable and easy to wear. On my recent trip to Miami, I just knew a shirt dress would be the perfect piece to bring along with me. As this has been sitting in my closet, waiting for the right weather to be worn in, I was finally able to take it out for a spin in Miami. Shop some of my favorite dresses from Revolve, including this one, down below!

Washington Park Hotel

When it comes to Miami, I'm definitely more of that lay by the pool, lay out in the sun kind of girl. Thanks to Washington Park Hotel, I got just what I was looking for. Just a few blocks away from Miami beach, WPH was the perfect place to stay for a girls trip, with their cozy rooms and retro vibes, I loved being steps away from the pool, beneath a canopy of palm trees and just a short walk away from Ocean Drive.

Upon arrival, I was immediately welcomed by the friendly staff. But what's a warm-weather vacation without a drink right off the bat? The delicious mojito they served was a great way to kick off day one in Miami. The room was spacious, comfy enough for three girls that packed a good amount of their closets at home.
After getting settled in, you could find me laying out by the pool at some point in the day. I loved how it wasn't too crowded so that relaxation was definitely getting crossed off the list. The food and drinks served by the pool were amazing as well. Picture a piña colada paired with some chips and guac, that's a solid time at the pool for me.

I was definitely looking forward to getting some color after that New York City winter. Thanks to all the time I dedicated to the sun, I came back from Miami with a nice glow, itching for summer to make it's way back to me now.
If you're looking for a place to stay in Miami that is perfect for family, friends, or your significant other, be sure to check out Washington Park Hotel. The location and hospitable staff made my stay with my girlfriends extremely welcoming and I'll definitely be planning to make my way back soon.

Urban Outfitters

When most people think of Spring, they think of bright colors, lots of patterns, florals etc. Me? I like to stick to my black and white neutrals, my clean palette exists all year round. But I'm all about finding new silhouettes, mixing and matching materials, and so on. That's why I'm so excited to partner with Urban Outfitters to share my spring favorites with you.

Spring means more dresses, rompers, hiding away those bulky jackets and trading them in for some denim jackets, bombers, or just a sweater to wear out and about. I've always loved the selection at Urban Outfitters, whether you're into the more feminine styles or you're a bit more edgy, they've got you covered. I'm paring this Out From Under Reagan Romper with a trucker denim jacket, perfect for spring in New York as I hop between Manhattan and Brooklyn. For a small bit of color, I've been loving these retro round sunglasses by Ray-Ban.
Besides the darker pieces I've selected, what are those warm sunny days without a bunch of white pieces to wear along with it. I think a solid strapless top, wide leg pants, Soludos, and muscle-tee dress are all styles that are essential for a warm weather wardrobe. Not to mention how much more it'll bring out that tan.

Be sure to check out Urban Outfitters when adding to your spring wardrobe and be sure to shop all my picks in the widget below!

Melrose Avenue

Clearly, I avoided the crowds against the famous LA walls that everyone take a picture in front of. I'm happy to wrap up these LA looks as New York City finally gets the spring weather we've been waiting for because I'm just looking to wear this camel coat everywhere again. I'm not typically a blue denim type of girl, but GRLFRND Denim always gets me. Until next time, LA. Maybe I'll actually make it to Coachella one year. Shop this look below!

Venice Beach, California

I think one of my favorite parts about traveling to another city, is coming back with a new appreciation for my own. Going to LA was definitely a good change of pace. With what felt like an eternal winter in New York City, I loved the consistent days of sunshine, heading to the beach and looking at miles and miles of coastline and sand in California. I'm most happy about the fact that I've kept the promise that I made to myself when I graduated college, to travel as much as I can when I can. I'm looking forward to my next few trips.
