Gucci Dionysus GG Supreme Mini

My birthday is always a good time for me to try to justify adding a new bag to my collection. This year, I brought monogram print back into my collection with the Gucci "Dionysus GG Supreme Mini." As someone who definitely is a fan of simple black bags, this was something that was extremely different from everything that was currently in my collection, but much needed.

This isn't the first time I'm adding the Gucci print to my collection. I had a hobo bag back in 2009 that I ended up selling because the bag just wasn't holding up as well and I quickly got over the style. Since selling that first bag, I had never paid too much attention to Gucci until a trip to Italy in September where I picked up the "Soho Leather Disco Bag." I have to commend creative director of Gucci, Alessandro Michele for really bringing the brand back. I noticed more and more of that GG print, on shoes, belts, small leather goods, and of course bags. What some people thought was just a temporary trend, is here to stay with pieces that will become classics.

After debating on whether or not I should get this bag for a few weeks, I finally decided to take the plunge. But of course, when I did, it was sold out at multiple locations. Lucky for me, I tracked one down at the flagship store on 5th Avenue in pristine, all wrapped up, condition. With winter coming to an end, I was imagining how perfect this would look once I could shed the thick layers.

This bag is definitely the smallest in my collection, and by that, I mean that it holds the least compared to my other pieces. If you're looking to carry a bit more, go with the other sizes that this bag style comes in. The reason why I love this version of the monogram is the coated leather making it so much more durable. There's also something about the details of the hardware that just make it such a statement piece.

PRODUCT DETAILS
Antique Silver Toned Hardware | Biege/Ebony GG Supreme Canvas | Taupe Suede Trip
Hand Painted Edges | Hand Stitched Details

7.5"W x 6"H x 2"D with a 15.5" Chain Strap Drop

After using this bag for about two months already, it's perfect for lighter days where I'm just carrying my cellphone, wallet, keys, and sunglasses. I love where it hits me when I'm wearing it cross-body and how easy it is to get in and out of when I'm on the go. If you're looking to add print into your collection, I definitely suggest checking out the choices at Gucci. Shop this bag in various colors and sizes below!
