What Goes Around Comes Around

Although I love unboxing and opening that packaging after picking up a brand new Chanel at the boutique, there's this beautiful feeling of finding a vintage Chanel piece that you know is quite unique and rare to find. I was invited to stop by What Goes Around Comes Around in SoHo a few weeks ago to check out their collection of vintage pieces not knowing that I'd be walking out with my new favorite SLG (small leather good.)

After getting a tour around the store, trying on quite the selection of vintage Chanel bags (and I must admit it was hard to say "no" to lots bags for now) I found this little beauty in the case. My new little companion is often in my morning coffee shots and it is an early 90's vegetable-dyed lambskin card holder with an 18K gold plated CC logo. These are manufacturing techniques that Chanel has stopped using today which makes it a little more special. As much as I love my current collection of Chanel bags, I was happy to add this small piece to the family, one that I haven't seen anyone have before.

I highly recommend anyone looking for a vintage piece, especially Chanel and Hermès, to check out WGACA's site or any of their store locations in SoHo, Beverly Hills, Roslyn, East Hampton, and Bloomingdale's SoHo. The quality of their pre-loved items ranging from vintage jeans/band tees to luxe designer bags is incredible. I'll definitely be making my way back, perhaps to pick up a vintage Chanel bag for my birthday in a few months.

  1. I love how it's classic but still unique since it's vintage and not many people have one like it!
