Vacation Swimwear

One of the best parts about vacationing somewhere tropical is being in a swim suit every single day. I definitely love to mix and match my pieces so for this trip, I really wanted to switch things up a bit. A few people wanted to get some details on some of the suits I wore. Some of my favorite places to get swimwear is Urban Outfitters and Free People. I've written out the descriptions for some of the favorites and most photographed ones and you can even shop similar pieces below!

Striped Off The Shoulder + High Waisted
Some days, the bloating was just too obvious to go with a typical low rise bikini, so I definitely loved bringing a high-waisted bottom along with me, this pair is from Urban Outfitters and is linked below. I paired the bottoms with striped off-the-shoulder bikini top from Free People (currently no longer available.)

Black Ruffle Off The Shoulder
I think it's safe to say I really rode that off-the-shoulder wave this summer. I had to have this black ruffled o-t-s bikini top from Free People (linked below) and paired it with a cheeky bikini bottom. This top is still currently available online and was actually very easy to move around in. But be warned that you could get a weird tan.

White One Piece
Although it was not photographed, but you can see it in our trip video, I brought along a white one piece from American Apparel. The cut of this suit is not your typical conservative one piece. The rear is cheeky, the thigh cut goes up high, and you get a bit of side-boob, well, what little boobs I do have. It's definitely a great piece at a good price point, but be warned that it is thin and be cautious of possible transparency especially if you get white.

Triangle Top
For the usual style, I brought along a halter triangle top and paired it with a cheeky bottom. This was definitely great for evening out my tan lines and also was one of the easiest to wear in terms of arm movement and not being too fussy. Free People is literally one of my go-to places to shop when it comes to swimwear.

Additional Accessories
I brought along my two Quay x Desi Perkins aviators and mostly wore these for my trip. It was also a good idea to have my two boater hats with me, one tan and one black. Of course, I couldn't go on a tropical vacation without my Tulum towel by The Beach People.
