Welcome to Paris

One overnight flight later, and a quick afternoon nap from my jet-lag, I was ready for this city and all it had to offer. The first night included a trip to the Eiffel Tower and an incredible dinner at a Michelin star restaurant. Packing for this trip was tricky but I just knew my black and white wardrobe would easily match these Parisian streets. One definite must is a cool leather jacket, and this Aritzia Mackage is my favorite.

I'm excited to begin blogging about my looks for this trip as well as what my itinerary consisted of. While day one was fairly mellow, it was an incredible beginning to an unforgettable time in Paris.

Somewhere in Brooklyn

I'll be honest, I'm a hat person, but it's so difficult to find well fitting pieces that suit me. Luckily, I found this one from Forever 21 and actually went on a binge and then bought several more hats. Hopefully that Spring sunshine will be making more frequent appearances so that I can make the most of these purchases. Shop some hats I'm digging below!

Paris Recap Video

I'm finally back in New York City after the most incredible trip. Paris was absolutely breathtaking and before jumping into my "Trip Tips" and outfit posts, I wanted to share with you all a recap video of Marco and I's time there. Ever since we've been together, I've put together videos of our summer vacations. I'm so fortunate to be able to travel with the one that I love and I hope you guys enjoy the video! We'll definitely be planning on a return to Paris very soon.

Postcards From Paris

It's been about a week since I've been in Paris, my first time here, and I fell in love with the city almost immediately. Everything here is so picturesque, with the kindest people, and the most incredible food. I've wandered through little streets, people watched from cafes, and enjoyed my fair share of crepes, baguettes, and croissants. I'll be doing a detailed post on my trip with many outfit posts to follow. Stay tuned and for more immediate updates, follow along on my Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter! Au revoir!

Faux Fur Goals

I must admit, I love catching the end of the winter season sales, practically already prepping my closet for the next cold season. Rocking a big (faux) fur jacket will always either be a hit or miss, luckily, this piece that I got for 50% off at ASOS was right on point. At least I think so. When it comes to your outfit, always pick that one piece to be the hero.

Brooklyn Calling

If I could live in activewear pants all year long, I would. During the winter months, all black seems to be a safe choice, so when I've got a busy day ahead of me, I'll throw on my favorite high-waisted yoga pants, black crop top, and one of my favorite coats. New York City is experiencing some warmer weather nowadays so I have to admit that I'm excited to bring out my lighter layers soon. Let's hope that I won't have to dress too warmly while I'm on my trip that I can't wait to share with you all!

Céline Classic Box Bag in Souris

The Céline Classic is exactly that, a classic piece. This bag has been on my list for the longest time, and now, thanks to some help from the boyfriend, I can finally cross it off! By now, you can tell that I've got a thing for Céline bags. I can't help but love the discrete and simple designs where the beauty of the bag can just speak for itself without any logos screaming at you. From my two Trios to my Phantom Cabas tote, this one is now officially part of the family. Steering away from the typical black color, I fell in love with the "Souris" colour from the Fall 2015 collection. Made of Calfskin Liégé leather, it was the perfect material as it is more durable than the typical smooth leather mostly seen on the Classic Bag, more prone to scratches and visible markings.

The bag can store all my necessities, obviously not as much as my larger pieces, but when it comes to the necessities such as my phone, keys, long wallet, and external charger, I'm all set. I'll definitely be doing a "What's In My Bag" with this soon, which you'll most likely find on my Instagram.

Whether this bag is worn with the strap or styled as a clutch, it's a perfect piece that can elevate any outfit. I've already paired this bag with both sneakers as well as my favorite boots, both of which went along with it incredibly. The color of the bag changes throughout the day, depending on the lighting that it is in, and that's partly why I fell for it so immediately. This color is different yet still well within a neutral family to go with my minimal aesthetic. I can't wait to style this bag for you in a variety of outfits. Stay tuned and get additional details of this bag below as well as some other bags on my list.
