New York City's weather can play tricks on you. The forecase told me to dress for a "cooler" summer day, but knowing the chances of that being wrong, I had to prepare for anything, and it's a good thing I did. While it was 60 degrees in the morning, it had hit 80 by mid-afternoon. This asymmetrical dress from Urban Outfitters is the perfect casual summer dress for a laid-back look. Throwing over my favorite leather jacket, this look can easily be recycled into the fall. I also think that it's time to retire these Zara booties and only use them in rough weather. Let's add a new pair of staple black booties onto the list for that fall wardrobe, a definite must for me.

  2. Hi, what's your source of income? I'm a student aspiring to live in NY and curious to see if it's affordable. You have equisite taste is brunches and bags so was wondering how is it affordable to live in NY with these perks. Do you have help from your parents or others? Thanks!

    1. Hi Kimmy! I'm a full time student and part time I am a social media specialist for Aeropostale. I also monetize through my blog. Brunches are luckily hosted by restaurants every now and then and saving up for bags just takes some discipline and some time. Thanks!
