SoHo Faux

SoHo has become one of my favorite parts of Manhattan, not only because of the shopping and endless brunch locations, but due to the character this neighborhood has. Each building has it's own unique personality and history and you can typically find a mixture of practically anything in this area, but let's be honest, that's basically a good amount of New York City, isn't it? I recently met up with a photographer from San Francisco and it was my first time shooting for the blog with someone other than my boyfriend or a friend. Read more to get additional shots from this day and details on this look!

Sofala and I met up for coffee at Gasoline Alley on Lafayette Street. For this outing, I opted for my faux fur jacket from H&M. I was surprised to be really warm in this piece but I'm glad it was! New York weather has been very difficult lately and it has definitely been a struggle shooting for the blog outdoors due to the low temperatures and wind. It's times like these that I wish I lived in Los Angeles, but what can you do? I've got to make things work. I tend to go all-black when I want certain pieces to stand out. As you can see here, I wanted to highlight my jacket and Saint Laurent clutch. My birthday is also coming up so be sure to keep up with me on Instagram and Twitter to see what I'm going to be up to! Have a great week, everyone!
