Blushing

Is it spring yet? New York City has become an ice box over the past couple of days and I'm running out of layering tricks. I attended an adorable luncheon with Foxiedox in this look, kicking off New York Fashion Week. Rather than bulking up with a coat, I just layered a couple of sweaters to keep myself from cursing at the cold. As an attempt to add more color to the blog, this blush wall was the perfect setting for yet another (somewhat) neutral outfit. Read more to get additional details on this look and shop the pieces I've got on!
Top: Aritzia | Jacket: Free People | Jeans: Citizens of Humanity | Necklace: Stella & Dot |  Boots: Steve Madden | Bag: Céline

This shaggy jacket is also in my closet in black, and what I recently discovered is that it's actually reversible if I'm not feeling as bold that day. I have this habit of purchasing things in multiple colors if I love it that much. My deep purple sweater helped keep me from freezing in the low temperatures as well as add a bit of color to the look. I'm a huge fan of contrasting colors and finding a balance between them. These pieces are so versatile and I know I'll be able to match them with a ton of other things in my closet. The movement of this jacket is so fun and different compared to other top-layer pieces that I own and the best part of it is, I scored it at Free People for over 50% off. How could I resist?

I had a fantastic time with the Foxiedox family which I'll be writing about in my next post. Not to mention I still have another look for them coming soon to the blog. I was happy to meet so many blogger babes and I'm definitely thrilled for future collaborations to come. Until next time!

    1. Thanks Mindy! I fell in love the second I saw it while passing by in a car and knew that I just had to return to it for a blog shoot! And haha, such a bad habit to have but we can't help it. When something looks good, buy in many colors!
