Greetings from Florida!

Well, these posts are going to be coming in pretty late. I've been away on vacation since Sunday and I'm just now getting to these photos now. Sorry for the brief period of abandonment but I'm back to my regular schedule because reality is going to hit me real soon. I've been enjoying the warm weather, laying by the pool, going to the beach, and of course Disney World! These next few posts will be fairly quick with just a few words on what I've done that day while on vacation. I'll be back in school this week so hopefully I can get these blog posts out! New York Fashion Week is also coming up and I'll hopefully be able to make it to the site at least once during the events!

For this look, I kept it super casual and relaxed. This was my outfit upon first arriving in Florida. We landed in Orlando and took a drive down to Miramar, exploring the surrounding cities. I wore my Aéropostale tank, Levi's, Auxiliary Crossbody, and yes, I joined the dark side, Birkenstocks. With the Florida heat, the real struggle was keeping my hair from frizzing like crazy. It's beautiful here but I'm definitely ready for Autumn in New York City.

Aritzia Auxiliary Satchel

I definitely think that I need to start planning out my days hour by hour because with blog stuff, family stuff, relationship stuff, school stuff, work stuff, and interning stuff, I'm gonna lose it. Today's post will be a quick one, just wanted to share with you all my Auxiliary Mini Bega Satchel from Aritzia. I have to say, I'm really impressed with the quality of the leather and hardware. I knew that I needed a small black crossbody, so when Aritzia released this line of handbags, I knew I had to have it. Check out the rest of the photos so you can fall in love with it too!

Fall Fixations

Is it just me, or did this summer fly by? It definitely feels like it was just yesterday that I was finishing up my finals, now I'm getting ready to get back to school in two weeks. From the beginning of summer, falling in love with lace and dainty details, it's time to gear my shopping list towards Fall Fashion, one of my favorite times of the year! It definitely makes saying goodbye to summer a little bit easier, but it's still difficult to do. As always, I've put together a list of some little purchases as well as big purchases I've got planned for the upcoming months.

The numbering is in no way an indication of what I want most to least. I just wanted it to be easier to link the items with the photos. I've figured out when I would like to have certain items by, for example, the sweater and coat before the weather gets too cold, the boots around Thanksgiving, the bag for my birthday, etc. With work, my internship, and school, it's going to get quite hectic in the upcoming months. But I'm up for the challenge!

Jeans and a T-Shirt

When in doubt, a simple white tee with destroyed denim is never a bad choice. Of course, the day that I decided to wear heeled sandals was the day my internship asked me to run errands in the city, taking a trip to the Container Store while carrying a heavy amount of bins to return and exchange. However, I did find this amazing acrylic drawer and organizer for my make-up there! Well, enough about the intern things. I've got one week left before I leave for my little getaway. I can't believe how quickly summer has gone by, and how quickly the fall weather has arrived in New York.

For this outfit, I paired my super comfortable Aritzia Divina Tee with my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Indie's. I'm wearing my Marc by Marc Jacobs bag with my Zara sandals, purchased a few months ago. I really do love the quality of Zara shoes because the quality is great and they're comfortable to wear too. I've got my Wishlist post coming up as well as a packing list for my trip. I hope everyone has a great week!

Beaudry & Black

Oops, I did it again. I purchased another one of the Aritzia Beaudry tops in "shy." It's the perfect violet/plum color, perfect for transitioning towards fall tones. When I noticed it was 50% off, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to purchase my favorite top of the summer once more. I mean, third time's the charm, right? I know I'm not the only one that has fallen in love with a piece so much that collecting it in various hues felt necessary. However, my online shopping has now shifted towards browsing for boots, sweaters, and trust me, I've already bookmarked a couple of pieces I can't wait to introduce to my fall wardrobe!

For this look, I paired this beautiful top with black city crop pants from Aéropostale, my studded Sam Edelman sandals, and my Saint Laurent Paris Sac de Jour. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! I'll be doing a "Fall Wish List" post and "Packing List" post for my upcoming trip sometime this week, so stay tuned!

A Stroll in Stripes

The "Summer Styles" to "Fall Fashion" transition has officially begun! With the new semester right around the corner, I'm already dreaming of cashmere, boots, coats and sweaters. I've definitely upgraded my Spring/Summer wardrobe a lot over the past couple of months so I'm pretty thrilled to do so with my Fall/Winter looks as well! I'm really hoping that between school, interning, and working, I'll be able to keep up with the blog as best as I can!

For this look, worn to my second day as an Interior Design Intern and a double date with friends, I built my outfit around my bag. I really wanted to use my Louis Vuitton Neverfull because it carries everything that I need. Not to mention I have yet to include this beauty in a single outfit post. I decided to go with a simple striped shirt from Forever 21 and my extremely comfortable A Gold E skinny jeans from Aritzia. I wore my Louis Vuitton sandals to go with the LV Charm hanging off my bag. Unfortunately, I got these sandals years ago and they're no longer available. Read more to get additional shots of my outfit and links to the items below. I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Prepped with Plaid

I cannot believe how long it has been since I last posted! It's been so hectic the past week with Fame at Javits Center from Saturday to Tuesday and then beginning my very first interior design internship on Wednesday! Everything's been a little crazy but I'm doing my best to juggle everything as well as I can. I can't remember the last time I was home early enough that I didn't just want to go straight to bed. Anyways! Considering it's already August, it's time for a lot of "Back to School" trends.

For this look, I decided to pair a crisp white blouse from Aritzia with this plaid skort from the Bethany Mota Collection at Aeropostale! For my accessories, I decided to stick with basic blacks with my Saint Laurent Sac De Jour and my Sam Edelman Trinas. Continue reading to check out more details for this look! Hope everyone has an amazing weekend!

Ethereal in Dumbo

Happy August! The month is off to an amazing start because I just landed my first Interior Design Internship! #Yay! I start next week and it's going to go into the school year so I'm extremely excited about it! Anyways, the other day, I picked up Marco after work and we drove down to DUMBO, (Down Under Manhattan Brooklyn Underpass) a park beneath the Brooklyn Bridge. We shot this look that I put together from Aero's newest collection and I have to say, it's looking so great! You know me and all white, so I immediately gravitated towards this tunic and waffle sweater.

Aeropostale just launched their #AeroNOW campaign that I'm so proud to be a part of. It's about clothing that is more towards fashion, leaving behind logo tees and becoming a more "fashion-forward" brand. The new lines include Bethany Mota, Tokyo Darling, Lorimer, etc. You'll be surprised with some of the collections Aeropostale now has. You won't even recognize it. Read more for all the outfit details. Have a great weekend, everyone!
