It's safe to say yesterday's weather was a bit all over the place. In the morning it was incredibly sunny, hot, and beautiful. Suddenly, out of nowhere, it began to pour and I was so upset that I may not be able to photograph for the blog. I just got a new lens for my camera, a Sigma 30mm f/1.4 and I was looking forward to taking it out on a test shoot. Luckily, the rain only lasted about an hour and the sun began to shine again. Yesterday was a good break from a hectic work/school week. With finals going on, I have barely any time to just relax and enjoy.
It was a lazy Saturday so I kept my look pretty casual for the day. Continue reading to get the details of this look and links to shop these pieces at the end. I hope you enjoy!

Most people know that I wear a lot of black and white, however, I really do try to add pops of color into my outfits every once in a while. Yesterday was a day spent hanging out with my boyfriend and going to the movies. We watched Neighbors starring Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, and Dave Franco. It was such a funny movie and I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a laugh!
Everyone needs a good plain white tee, whether it's a crew neck, v-neck, whichever floats your boat. This is one piece that I find to be a staple in everyone's wardrobe because you can never go wrong with it. When Isabel Marant released her collection for H&M, I had to get this t-shirt. She's known for her more relaxed designs so when I was on the hunt for a slouchy white tee, I knew her collection would be a good place to look. Whether you need to dress up or dress down, plain white tops are always a great piece because they're just so versatile. I chose to pair these with my favorite jeggings from Aeropostalé.
I love the stretch and the fit of jeggings. They're not too tight, not too loose, and they allow me to move comfortably at all times. I love these jeggings so much that I have three pairs in black and about four more in other denim washes.
I have been on the hunt for Chanel Espadrilles for the longest time. I think I started looking for them in March of last year and got on every wait list possible. The Chanel Espadrilles became highly coveted and I was determined to get myself a pair before any more price increases. After numerous calls to Saks, Neimans, Nordstrom, and Bloomingdales, I got my hand on a pair in July. It was the last one in my size in the entire country in the color combination before the next shipment. For that, I probably had to wait another two months and it was even more expensive. The wait was well worth it and these shoes have been great to wear for my more casual outfits.
I always thought that Spring/Summer was "Crossbody Bag" season. I'm the kind of person that carries a lot of stuff so when Céline released a larger size for the Trio, I had to rethink it. When I saw the regular size, I knew that I couldn't get much use out of it so I immediately dismissed the idea of ever buying one no matter how cute it was. I needed a larger bag but at the same time, a bag that wasn't too big as well.
This bag was the perfect color to add to my collection and it is also my first red bag. I was determined to purchase a nice brightly colored crossbody for the upcoming season and I'm definitely happy with my choice. You can read a more detailed post about my Céline Trio here.
