Style Shoot With Aeropostale

I finally received my shots from Aeropostale! It was so much fun shooting with everyone and I had a great time working with the girls. I remember shopping at Aero when I was younger and they have definitely come a long way since those cotton tees with a monkey face on the front. They've incorporated so many great styles and prints and I can only anticipate better pieces to come. We were given a good amount of time to browse the end of summer collection. We were asked to put together two outfits that reflect our personal styles. Read more to see what I chose and why!

My first look is something more casual, something I would wear if I were to hang out at the mall or the boardwalk with friends. I went with these cute cut-off shorts, orange cami, and 3/4 sleeve top with a lace back. I'm definitely into incorporating casual and comfortable in my look.

  • Destroyed Lightwase Shorts (x)
  • Suede Fringe Crossbody (x)
  • Studded T-Strap Sandal (x)

My second look is my "date night" look. It's something a little more girly and flirty. I absolutely loved the floral chiffon skirt matched with a plain white blouse and black sandals with a matching mini-duffel purse. It's one of those looks I would wear on one of those cool summer nights while out on a date. :)

  • Long Sleeve Sheer Solid White Blouse (x)
  • Printed Floral Chiffon Skirt (x)
  • Mini Duffel Bag (x)
  • Studded T-Strap Sandal (x)

I was absolutely surprised with how much the brand has changed since I was a young teenager. They're definitely a lot more fashion forward while still maintaining affordable prices. What I love the most about Aeropostale is how they have look for everyone. They've got things for the girly girl, the sporty girl, the rocker girl, etc. It's definitely a step towards the right direction and I think every one will be surprised when they see the rest of their products when they hit stores next month!

I had such a great time with the team at Aeropostale and I'm definitely hoping to work with them again. At the end of the style session, I got this cute neon pink crossbody and a gift card to shop my new favorite looks. Definitely keep an eye on your local Aeropostale store, they've got some really great things coming out soon. :)
